Husband and wife from Cork, we have two little children Fionn and Jessie who have inspired us to start this little business.

Hazel - "I was planning on going back to work but was really hoping to be able to do something part-time so I could be at home with the kids.." I had worked in many cafes both here and abroad. " I love the social ambiance a café brings, the smell of freshly grounded coffee..lots of people milling around, having a chat and catching up with friends" "..coffee shops have a great buzz, you never know who you'll meet". And so, this is where Nom Nom Café came about. Something we could both do part-time. Flexible, Social and providing the one thing We LOVE and consume everyday!

Brendan - We wanted to create a mobile café that also appealed to families. "..healthy juices & snacks for kids and premium quality coffee for parents". The name "Nom Nom" was inspired by our son Fionn, who used "Nom Nom" to say he was hungry "nomnom?" or enjoying his dinner .."nomnommmm". The name has since stuck and become our whole brand! It even has created little "Nom Nom" monsters – adding to the fun and family appeal.

Our first ever trial was down at the Marina in Blackrock .We did this for a number of Saturdays to test the waters and see what people thought of our product. Before long we were fortunate enough to become a part of the Fota Resort WISH Christmas market that December. We had amazing feedback from Event Co-ordinators and customers regarding the quality of our product and our whole set up.

We then started trading in Glanmire on Saturday mornings in the Farmers Market serving the locals of Glanmire as well as the thirsty Moms and Dads who are waiting for their little hurlers in Sars Hurling Club.  Our weekends have snowballed since and usually we attend various events throughout the year from Vintage Fairs and Road Races to Cycling Events and Weddings.
